William A. Warrick died at his home south of town on Tuesday night about half past 11. Early in the afternoon he went out with Purdy Dooley and Mrs. Warrick to look at some hogs which were to be killed the next day. While there he complained of an intense pain in his head. He was assisted to the house and shortly after became unconsious. A physician was summoned but nothing could be done to reliev ehim and he died without regaining consciousness. Funeral services at the home at 2 this (Friday) afternoon will be in charge of Rev. EE Moorman of Frankfort. Mr. Warrick was the son of John and Harriet Cord Warrick, and was born in July 1860 on the old Warrick homestead where with the exception of a few years in the drug business in Waveland and Montezuma, he spent his entire life. He leaves a wife, Mrs. Iona Butcher Warrick and two sisters: Mrs. AJ Harbeson of Jennings, OK and Mrs. James Odell of Russellville. He was a member of the Christian Church, the Odd Fellows and the Modern Woodmen. Mr. Warrick was a man of kindly disposition, ever ready to speak a cheering word or do a good turn. He was upright in all dealings and will be greatly missed by a wide circle of friends and acquaintances.
