Walkup - Rhoda Whorley

Again it has pleased the All-Wise God to enter another home
and take from it a living mother, Rhoda Ann WALKUP, daughter of
William and Lorah Whorley. The deceased was born May 10, 1861 and
was married to Frank M. Walkup Oct 14, 1885. To this union was
born one daughter, Maggie May. Mrs. Walkup departed this life
April 28, 1931. The husband preceded her to the better land March
9, 1928. Mrs. Walkup is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Glen Love;
3 granddaughters: Mrs. Buren Wills; Mrs. Clinton Clore and Minnie
may Love and 4 brothers, one sister; two brothers preceded her in
death. Mack Whorley of Advance and Henry Clay of Virginia; two
brothers, living Tom Whorley of New Ross and Fletcher of Advance
and a sister, Jennie Neighbor of Cleveland, Ohio and also a host
of relatives and friends. She was a member of the Presbyterian
