Crawfordsville, Ind – Funeral services will be here tomorrow for Merritt W. Voris, 70, Michigan State manager of the Ben Hur Life Association. A native of Crawfordsville, Mr. Voris died of a heart ailment yesterday at Detroit. His father, the late Ed Voris former Crawfordsville mayor, was one of the organizers of Supreme Tribe of Ben Hurt, fraternal insurance company. Mr. Voris had been with Ben Hur for more than 40 years and was a member of the executive committee. A 1904 graduate of Wabash College he was a member of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity and the Montgomery Masonic Lodge. - kbz
