Mrs. Margaret Voliva, 61, Rt 4, a 15-year employee of J.C. Penney Co. died Monday in St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette. She had been a patient there one week. Mrs. Voliva and her husband moved to a farm west of here in 1946. Prior to making their residence here, the family had lived at Bloomington. She was a member of Waynetown United Methodist Church. Born Dec 29, 1916 at Bowling Green, KY, she was a daughter of Lulen and Mattie McGinnis Capshew. She was graduated from Bloomington HS in 1935. She was married Oct 8, 1935 at Bloomington to Harry Voliva. He survives. Other survivors are 3 sons, Ben of Doltan, Ill, Dan and Steve of Crawfordsville; four daughters,Mrs. John (Jan) Austin of Crawfordsville; Mr. Dale (Peg) Perry of Huntington; Mrs. Arnold (Pat) Smith of Lakeland, Fl and Mrs. Gerry (Shirley) Ritter of Livingtston, NJ; two brothers, Herbert Capshew of Chicago and Robert of Bloomington; a sister, Mrs. Evelyn McMillan of Crawfordsville and 13 grandchildren. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Wed in Thomas Funeral Home, Waynetown Rev. Ernest Hayden officiating. Burial in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery ...contributions to St. Elizabeth Cancer Research, Lafayette.
