Harry Voliva Sr, 69, of 3705 Halfway Road, died at 12:40 p.m. Sunday in St. Elizabeth Hospital at Lafayette where he had been a patient two weeks. A retired farmer, he had lived at his present address for 40 years. He was inducted into the Indiana Wrestling Hall of Family in 1977 as an individual and 1981 as a family with his brothers. He was a member of Waynetown United Methodist Church. A 1935 graduate of Bloomington HS he attended Indiana University. Mr. Voliva was born March 28, 1917 at Bloomington, to Ernest and Eva Jane Kinser Voliva. He married Margareat Capshew Oct 8, 1935 at Bloomington. She preceded him in death in 1978. Survivors are 3 sons, Ben of Dolton, Ill; Dan and Steve of Crawfordsville; four daughters, Mrs. John (Jan) Austin of Crawfordsville; Mrs. Peg Perry of New Albany; Mrs. Arnold (Pat) Smith of Lakeland, FL; and Mrs. Garry (Shirley) Ritter of Verona, Wis; four brothers, Dick of Clemson, SC; Thomas of Blairsville, GA; Bill of Solsberry and Clarence of Medford, Or; a sister, Mrs. Wilma Black of Colorado Springs, Colo ; 17 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.His parents and a brother, John, preceded him in death. Services 2 p.m. Wed in Thomas Funeral Home, Waynetown with Rev. Scott Johnson officiating. Burial in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery
