Vaughn - Pearl Leota Biddle

Waynetown, September 19 - Word was received here Friday of the death of Mrs. Pearl Vaughn, 55, of Wenatchee, Washington. Mrs. Vaughn passed away at her home there on September 13, at 2:30 p.m. and while she had been in failing health the past two years her death was entirely unexpected. She was born on a farm east of waynetown, the daughter of Lawson and Calista Biddle, and was married to Howard Vaughn, a brother of Frank Vaughn, of the Christian Union Community. They went to Washington some 26 years ago and had resided there continuously. Survivors include Mr. Vaughn; four daughters, Bonnie who is married and lives in California; Mrs. Calista Smallwood and Mrs. Myrtle Whiting, who resides in the Wenatchee area and Miss Thelma, at home; one son, Thomas near Wentatchee, and an only sister, Mrs. Dillie Swank, Waynetown. Funeral and burial services took place Monday at Wenatchee.
