Waynetown, Nov 13 -- Mrs. Ida M. Vaughn, 56, died at her home 4 miles southeast of here this morning 5:30 o'clock. Death came after an illness of two years and was due to complications. The deceased was the daughter of John Sanford and Mary Curtis Barker. She was born near Hillsboro on 28 June 1872. Her marriage to D. Frank Vaughn occured 24 April 1912. Mrs. Vaughn was a member of the Christian Union Church. She lived in Fountain and Montgomery counties throughout her entire life. The survivors are the husband; a daughter, Mrs. Mabel Hawk of Springfield, Ill, two sons, John of California, and Fred T. of Marion, Indiana; one grandchild; a sister, Mrs. Charles Bowen of Paris, Illinois and a brother, John S. Barker of Crawfordsville. Funeral services will be held at the Christian Union Church 1:30 Thursday afternoon, Rev. O.G. McMullen of Shelbyville, Indiana will have charge of services. Burial will be in Waynetown cemetery.
