North Salem - Golda VanSickle, 63, died Thursday at a Tecumseh, Michigan hospital. She had been in failing health several years and bedfast six days. She was born May 22, 1892 in Johnson County, the daughter of George and Belle Vanderegriff. She married John VanSickle April 23, 1912. She is survived by 3 daughters, Mrs. Hazel Wilson and Mrs. Mary Lewis of North Salem and Mrs. Lela Haines of Indianapolis, four sons, George and Carl VanSickle of Manchester, Mich; Robert VanSickle of Indianapolis and Marvin Van Sickle of Thorntown and 29 grandchildren. Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Porter Funeral Home in North Salem, Rev. Richard Berkey officiating.. Burial will be at the North Salem cemetery. -- kbz
