Vannice - Martha Holler

Mrs. Martha Vannice, who formerly lived here on North Cross Street was found dead in her room at the Soldiers' Home at Lafayette Saturday. Charles Milligan went to Lafayette and made arrangements for the funeral which took place at Crawfordsville Sunday evening. Those from here attending were: Mrs. Thomas Milligan, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Milligan and Miss Virginia, John V. Milligan and family and Charles Milligan. Mrs. Vannice was the widow of James Vannice, who was a brother of Mrs. Thomas Milligan. She was born near Harrisburg, Kentucky. -- kbz
