Vancleave - William L.
Source: Crawfordsville Journal 25 April 1916
William L., son of Aaron and Lancindia Vancleave, was born in Boone County, Ind., August 15, 1873, and died at his home in Brown's Valley, April, 21, 1916, aged forty-two years, even months and twenty-eight days. The deceased united with the Brown's Valley Baptist Church December 11, 1896 and remained a Christian member until death. Will, as he was called, was big hearted, kind and true to his many friends and to know him was to love him. He was patient, and tender in his suffering, expecting to gain in strength that he might take a trip to New Mexico soon thinking that the change would restore his health. He took a trip but to the New Jerusalem, which is far better than to New Mexico, where no sorrow nor tears nor death enters. He leaves to mourn their loss, one sister, Eva, and two brothers, Reese and Charles and many other relatives and friends. His father and mother and two sisters have preceded him to their eternal home. - kbz
