Miss Sarah VanCleave, who has been seriously ill for the past twelve days, died Friday evening at 5:35 o'clock. She was the youngest child of David and Jane Vancleave, early settlers of the southern part of Montgomery county. Aunt Sarah, as she was known to every family in the community around her home, was a sincere Christian woman, loving and kind to everyone. B. M. VanCleave, a brother living in Topeka. Kas., is the last surviving child of this noble family. The funeral was held at the Parkersburg church Sunday afternoon at 1:30, Rev. S. G. Smith of Ladoga in charge. Burial took place in Indian Hill Cemetery. - kbz
