Roachdale - Ora Glen VanCleave, 74, died at 2:45 p.m. Saturday in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville. He had been in ill health the last 5 years. Until his retirement he had been a mechanic and insurance agent. A son of Henry and Nanna Glass VanCleave, he was born May 11, 1893 in Russellville. He was first married to Phoeba Barnes. In 1942 he was wed to Anne Gallagher, who survives. Surviving besides his wife are a son, Derald, and daughter, Mrs. Ruby Leah Byrd, both of Ladoga; 4 grandchilidren, two great grandchildren, a brother, Orval VanCleave of Bainbridge, a half sister, Fern Agins of Blandchester, Ohio. Funeral rites are set for 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Perkins Funeral Home, where friends may call. Burial in Ladoga Cemetery. Rev. Ray Britton will officiate. - kbz
