Vancleave - Martha Virts

Mattie D. VIRTS, daughter of Richard H. and Mary A. Virts of Crawfordsville Indiana was born October 31, 1868 and departed this life March 1, 1913, being 44 years and 4 months old at the time of her death. She united with the Methodist Church in the tender year of her girlhood and remained a consistent and devoted member of the church of her choice, until death released her from the bonds of clay and she was borne away to her heavenly home. She was married to George W. VanCleave July 24, 1887. To this union was born 3 children, one daughter, Mrs. Ethel Coole, and twin boys, one of which died in Infancy, the other, Leo still living who with her husband, father and mother, one sister, Mrs. FF Harrell and a brother, Claude H. Virts of Carlyle, Montana who remain to mourn her loss here, but expect to again meet her in that haven of rest where sickness and pain and parting are no more. Father. - kbz
