Levi Reese VanCleave 81 died at Culver Hospital Sunday afternoon after an illness of nearly three months. Mr. VanCleave lived in the Browns Valley neighborhood nearly all of his life until 10 years ago when he moved to Crawfordsville. Before coming here he had been employed for nearly half a century as a fence builder. Born December 6, 1867 at Waveland, he was the son of Aaron and Lucinda Taylor VanCleave. He was the last of a family of 7 brothers and sisters. He was a member of the Browns Valley Baptist Church. Mr. VanCleave who was never married is survived only by nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at Browns Valley Baptist Church. Burial in Old Hickory Cemetery near New Market. Friends may pay respects at Reeves Funeral Home in New Market - kbz
