James D. VanCleave, 106 North Webber Street, Urbana, ILL died at his home Tuesday evening after a short illness. Death was due to heart disease. The deceased was born Oct 29, 1876 in Crawfordsville. About 25 years ago he moved from Indiana to Urbana, where he had since resided. For several years he was an employee of the Big Four RR but for the past 12 years had been employed at the University of Illinois. On June 11, 1913, he was married to Emma SINNOTT of Urbana. Surviving are the widow and one son, Edward of Urbana and a sister, Mrs. OW Basye, 803 E. Green Street, Urbana. Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon from the Owens Funeral Home, with Rev. Charles Bromley of 1st Baptist Church officiating. Interment was made at Woodlawn Cemetery, Urbana.- kbz
