F.P. Van Cleave dies at capital Former resident of city succumbs after long illness Frank P. Van Cleave, father of Norman Van Cleave, of Crawfordsville and a former resident of this city, died at the Methodist hospital in Indianapolis Sunday night at 10:00 o'clock following an illness of one year. Complications caused his death. Mr. van Cleave was in his eightieth year and had lived in Indianapolis for the past sixteen years. Before moving to the capital city Mr. Van Cleave resided in this city for fifty years. While a resident of Crawfordsville he was engaged in the transfer business. While living here Mr. van Cleave was united in marriage to Miss Emma McGregg, who preceded him in death. Mr. van Cleave was a member of the Methodist church and of the Red Men. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at 1 o-clock in the Methodist church in Indianapolis of which he was a member. Following the services the body will be brought to this city where interment will be made at Oak Hill Cemetery between 2:30 and 3 o'clock.- kbz
