Mrs. Emma VanCleave, wife of Frank P. VanCleave of Owen County died Wednesday at the age of 57. Mrs. VanCleave's maiden name was Emma McGrigg. She was born and raised in Crawfordsville and was united in marriage here to Frank VanCleave. To them were born two sons, Lester now of Rockford, Ill and Norman who lived with his parents on a farm. They moved to Indianapolis 15 years ago and after a few years' residence there settled in Owen County where they have since resided. Mrs. VanCleave is survived by 3 brothers, willis, Louis and George. The latter lives in Indianapolis. The body will be brought here this evening and taken to the home of her brother, Willis, 1015 E. Main Street where funeral services will be conducted. -- typed by kbz
