Roachdale -- Cora Anne Van Cleave, 94, died Sunday in the Tender Care Nursing Home at Danville.
Roachdale -- Cora Anne Van Cleave, 94, died Sunday in the Tender Care Nursing Home at Danville.
She had operated a beauty shop at Roachdale and gave art lessons. Mrs. Van Cleave was born at Olney, Ill., on Nov. 30. 1890, a daughter of Michael G. and Minnie Hooper Galliger. She was married to Ira [Glenn] Van Cleave, who preceded her in death. She is survived by two daughters, Ramola Ward of Indianapolis and Joyce Sanders of Bowie, Texas; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. There will be no calling or services in the Servies & Morgan Funeral Home at Roachdale. The body will be cremated with graveside services at a later date. - kbz
