Vancleave - Catherine 1925 - Montgomery InGenWeb Project

Wingate, Ind Feb 4 – Mrs. Catherine Vancleave, a resident of Wingate for the past 29 years, died at Waynetown early today at the home of Mrs. Carlton Moore, a daughter. Mrs. VanCleave who was the widow of Ralph VanCleave was born in Montgomery County March 28, 1836.  Her husband died in 1903. She belonged to the old Baptist church and was held in high esteem. The surviving children are: Mrs. Carlton Moore, Waynetown; Mrs. Levi Coons near Crawfordsville; Mrs. Spillman Goff near Elmdale; JF VanCleave, Wingate; Henry VanCleave, Lawrence, Ind and George VanCleave, Chicago.  The funeral will be held at the Christian Church here Friday morning at 10:30 o’clock Rev. Erhart (sic) of Crawfordsville officiating. Burial in Pleasant Hill cemetery.
