New Market - Miss Carrie VanCleave, 87, of New Market, died early today in Carmen Nursing Home. She had retired as a dietician at Ball State University at Muncie. Miss VanCleave was a member of the New Market Methodist Church, New Market Woman's Club, Retired Teachers Association and DAR. She was graduated from New Market High School. She was born near New Market on July 6,1889, a daughter of Benjamin F. and Phoebe Wray VanCleave. Surviving are a twin brother, Roy, of Crawfordsville; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Powers Funeral Home at New Market with the Rev. Dale Payne officiating. Burial will be in Indian Creek Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Friday. - kbz
