Vancleave - Anna Dee

Anna Dee VanCleave, 82, of the New Market community, died at 12:05 a.m. Sunday in Carmen Nursing Home in Crawfordsville. She had been there since May 18. A daughter of Joseph Allen and Mary Emma Busenbark VanCleave, she was born May 16, 1885 two miles southwest of New Market. She was a graduate of New Market High School and attended Indiana State and Valparaiso. She taught school a number of years. Miss VanCleave was a member of the New Market Christian Church. Survivors include - a sister, Miss Cora VanCleave; a nephew, Dr. I Robert F. Brown of Seattle, Wash., and two nieces living in Seattle and Tacoma, Wash. Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Reeves Funeral Home 1n New Market. Rev. William B. Schalk will officiate, with burial in Indian Creek Hill Cemetery. Friends may, call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Monday. Miss VanCleave requested that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Ladoga Christian Children's Home. These will be accepted at the funeral home.
