Aaron Vancleave was born April 15, 1818, two miles west of Levine, Orange County, Ind., died March 13, 1897, being 78 years, 10 months and 28 days old. Deceased was married once and to this union were born two daughters, both of whom died when very small. Deceased’s wife died on March 21, 1854. Mr. Vancleave has been living with his sister, Jane Vancleave, near this place for sixteen years. He was a veteran of the Mexican War and served under our old hero, Gen. M. D. Manson. Mr. Vancleave’s last vote was for William McKinley. -s
