Vance - Dudley

Word has been received here of the death of Dudley N. Vance who until last February was the science teacher in the Crawfordsville high school. His death occurred Tuesday morning at Phoenix, Ariz,, and his body has been shipped to Kansas City, Mo., for burial, he having a brother living in that city. Mrs. Vance is at present in Kansas City. Mr. Vance suffered from consumption and his decline was quite rapid, he not realizing that he had the disease until about the first of the year. While connected with the schools here he established a reputation for ability and efficiency, and made many friends. He was a member of the local lodge of the K. of P., and word of his demise was sent to this organization, which at once took all proper steps through the lodge at Phoenix. - thanks to Kim H
