Crawfordsville Dec 3 – Russell J. Valentine, 49, died suddenly at his home seven miles north of this city Monday evening. He had been working all day and was taken ill when he returned home. Mr. Valentine was born in Circleville, Ohio. He had mad ehis home in Montgomery County since 1913 and had been a farmer since 1913 and had been a farmer all his life. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at the home and the body taken to Catlin, Ill for burial. Surviving are his wife, one son, Dewight, a student at Purdue, one brother and six sisters. - kbz
