Valentine - Dwight Dorman - Montgomery InGenWeb Project

Dwight Dorman Valentine, 95, formerly of Darlington died Thursday in Ben Hur Home, Crawfordsville.  Mr. Valentine was a retired farmer and had worked for the Indiana State Highway Department and radio station WBAA, West Lafayette.  He was a member of Darlington Christian Church where he served as an elder for many years. He was a 1924 Crawfordsville HS graduate and attended Purdue University. He was born Sept 15, 1906 at Catlin, Ill to Russell John and Dottie Belle Cook Valentine. A daughter, Marilyn Valentine Rolls, Louisville, Ky survives. His wife, Dorothy died in 1998.  Funeral services are scheduled 11 a.m. Monday in Burkhart Funeral Home, Crawfordsville. Friends may call 2-6 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Darlington Christian Church.
