Vail - Ida Hibbs

Linden, Jan 5 - Mrs. Ida May Vail wife of Edard Vail, died at her home here Monday (Jan 4) morning at 9:30 o'clock following a brief illness. Complications caused her death. Mrs. Vail as born near Waynetown on May 24, 1880 a daughter of Joseph and Amanda Hibbs. The deceased resided in Montgomery County all her life and for the past 14 years lived in Linden. Mrs. Vail's mother died 14 years ago today. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Vail is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Carrie Barton; two grandchildren, two stepsons, Harry and Ernest Vail of Linden; three brothers, ira Hibbs of Indianapolis; William Hibbs of Waynetown and Alfred Hibbs of McCordsville and two nieces. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the Linden Methodist Church of which Mrs. Vail was a member. Interment will take plac ein the Waynetown cemetery.
