Clarence Utterback, 57, former resident of the Crawfordsville and Elmdale communities, died suddenly Sunday morning at his home in Mt. Pleasant, Mich. He left here about 30 years ago. His parents were Fern and Ellen Baker Utterback. Survivors include the wife, Ellen Utterback; his mother; two sons; two daughters; four brothers and three sisters, all of the Mt. Pleasant area. Mrs. Hugo Merrell of Rt. 4, Crawfordsville, and Mrs. Clara Waye of Lafayette are aunts. He also has a number of cousins in this area. He was preceded in death by his father and a sister. Funeral services are pending at the Stinson Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant. Burial will take place at Mt. Pleasant
