Underwood - Grace Todd

Mrs. Grace Mae Underwood, 69 died at her home here at 2:25 p.m. Sunday. She had been in declining health a year, her condition serious the last six months. Born near Wallace May 18, 1895 she was a daugher of William and Minnie Pickett Todd. She married Ed Underwood at Champaign, Ill Sept 14, 1913. Mrs. Underwood was a member of the Methodist Church there and later attended the Alamo Christian Ch. She was educ in the Chrisman, Ill. school. Survivng are the husband; a son, Virgil of Bowling Green Ohio; two daughters, Mrs. Julia Welzbacher of Toledo, Ohio and Mrs. Virginia Cain of Elwood; two sisters, Mrs. Goldie DIllingham of Alamo and Mrs. Ruth Hart of Toledo; a brother, Virgil Todd of Alamo; 10 granchildren, a great grandchild and nieces & nephews. Preceding her in death were two brothers, Clarence & Junior Todd. Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Servies Funeral Home here with Rev. John Servies officiating and burial in Alamo Cem. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m Monday.
