Anne M. Underwood, 87, a former Crawfordsville resident died Wednesday night in Kosciusko County Hospital at Warsaw. She had been a resident of Warsaw the past 7 years. Mrs. Underwood was a member of 1st United Methodist Church at Crawfordsville and Order of Eastern Star. Born 14 May 1890 in Montgomery County, she was a daughter of George and Mary Dossett. She married Albert C. Underwood, a local business. He died in 1961. Surviving are a son-in-law, Joe Burrin of Leesburg; a brother, Luther Dossett of Rt 1; a sister, Oka Smith of Houston, TX and two grandchildren. A son, Max and daughter, Kathryn Burrin are deceased. Services are scheduled at 2 p.m. Saturday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Frank Little officiating. Burial in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
