William Edgar Tyler, 76, retired New York Central employe, died suddenly at 3:40 p.m. Sunday at his home, 908 Louise Ave. He was born Oct. 16, 1886 at Mecca. He was married to Jessie Lawson, who preceded him in death. Surviving are three sons, Howard and Richard of Crawfordsville and Raymond of Montezuma; a sister, Mrs. Ethel Shoaf of Kentland, and 10 grandchildren. Funeral services are announced for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home. Interment will be in Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Monday. – jlr
