Greencastle, Jan 9 – The death of Roscoe Turner, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alec Turner of Putnamville occurred Friday afternoon at the home of his parents in Putnamville. He was 24 years of age. The cause of his death was tuberculosis of which he had been suffering for many months. Mr. Turner was one of the most popular young men of Putnamville and was well known in this city. The funeral will be held Sunday morning at 1 o’clock in the Methodist Church in Putnamville. Burial will be in the Putnamville cemetery. --– transcribed by kbz
