John Milton TRUAX, an aged resident of
this county who died of Bright’s disease Saturday at his home in Alamo was
buried this morning at 10 o’clock at the Alamo cemetery. The funeral service
was conducted by Rev. Perry Lough of Waynetown. Mr. Truax was 78 years of age,
having been born in Ohio, Jan 2, 1830. Five children survive him: Louis and
Mattie Truax and Mary Smith of Alamo; CW Truax at Fearey, Ark and William
Lusader at Harrisburg, W Va. He also leaves one sister, Mrs. Laura Truax. Mr.
Truax was a member of the Universalist church.
