Trout - Bessie Yount

The funeral of Mrs. Omer Trout was held in the Christian Church on Sat. afternoon, in charge of Rev. F.E. Graves of New Ross and was largely attended. Burial at Union Cemetery. Death resulted from arthritis from which she had been a sufferer for several years. The following obituary was read: "Bessie J, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George M. Yount, was born in Waveland, March 19, 1891 and departed this life May 30, 1929 at her home at 719 W. South St, Lebanon, Ind. at the age of 38 years, 2 months and 11 days. She was married Nov 24, 1915 in Crawfordsville to Omer F. Trout. To this union were born two children, Ruth age 13 and Margaret age 11. Besides her husband and children she leaves a father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. George M. Yount of Waveland, Mr. Mack Collins of Peopla, Ill, Mrs. Clara Barton of Lebanon, Harry Yount of Waveland and Mrs. Nettie Havercamp of Crawfordsville and a host of relatives and friends to mourn her loss. She united with the Baptist Church of Waveland when a child, later coming to the Christian Church where she attended when health permitted. Where as she will always be remembered as fair and just in all her work throughout her life. Having met us under all conditions with a cheerful spirit, kind and forgiving and always eager to believe the best in everyone. - kbz
