Veedersburg - Robert A. Trinkle, 72 of 107 N. Walnut St, Veedersburg died at 6:15 p.m. TUesday in Lakeview Medical Center at Danville, Ill. He was a member of Sterling Christian Church and resident of the Veedersburg area most of his life. He retired from Harrison Steel at Attica in 1974. Mr. Trinkle was born Dec 20, 1911 in Fountain County, a son of Jasper and Dora Alice Butts Trinkle. He was married to Recca V. Krout on Dec 16, 1931. She preceded him in death in 1981. Survivors include two sons Robert Jr of Veedersburg and Ivan of Indianapolis; a sister, Mrs. Marie Linker of Veedersburg; five grandchildren and a great grandchild. He was preceded in death by a brother. Services will be 3 p.m. Friday at Dickerson Funeral Home, Veedersburg with Rev. Richard Throckmorton officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call 2-4 and after 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
