Waynetown - Max Trinkle, 39 of Waynetown died at 6:30 p.m. Sunday as a result of an apparently self-inflicted gunshot wound, state police said. He had been employed as an ad compositor at RR Donnelley & Sons since 1955.  He was a veteran of the Korean War and a member of Byron Cox American Legion Post 72 and Eagles Lodge, both of Crawfordsville.  He was graduated from Marshall HS.  He was born July 1, 1933 in Parke County, a son of Sam and Myrtle Myers Trinkle. He was married Jan 13, 194 to Nancy Horrocks of Waynetown who surives. Also surviving are his mother of Crawfordsville; a son, Michael at home; three daughters, Deborah, Susan and Kathy all at home; five brothers, Clyde of Waynetown, Lee and Jack both of Crawfordsville; Clifford of Florida and Leonard of Andrews; a sister, Mrs. Oline (Barbara) Swank of Crawfordsville and two aunts, Mrs. Porter Myers of Marshall and Mrs. Cecil Hudson of Danville, Ill.  He was preceded in death by his father. Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Servies-Thomas Funeral Home here with Rev. Dan Reihing officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery where graveside military rites will be conducted by Byron Cox Post 72. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Tuesday.
