On March 31st, at Franklin, Ind., occurred the death of Mrs. R. D. Trick, wife of Rev. R. D. Trick, former pastor of the First Baptist Church of this city. The world is the poorer of the loss of an unusually lovely Christian character. - s

Death of Mrs. Trick – Mrs. Emma Moncrief Trick, wife of Rev. R. D. Trick, and daughter of Maxa Moncrief and wife, died Monday evening at 10:55 at the home of her parents in East Franklin, from pneumonia.

Deceased was married to Rev. R. D. Trick July 24, 1895, and for three years after their marriage resided at Crawfordsville, where Mr. Trick was pastor of the Baptist church. Later they removed to Piqua, O., and after a two years stay in that city, owing to the ill health of Mrs. Trick, they removed to this city where they have since resided.

Deceased united with the Baptist church when a child and during the forty-two years of her life had lived a devout Christian life.
Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at 2:30 at the First Baptist church, conducted by Revs. St. John and E. S. Gardiner.
