NEW RICHMOND — Gaylord L. Tribby, 68, of rural New Richmond died at 4:45 a.m. Thursday in the Ben Hur Nursing Home at Crawfordsville after an illness of five weeks. Mr. Tribby had been a member of the New Richmond Methodist Church, the OES and was a past master of the F & AM Lodge. A native of New Richmond, Mr. Tribby was born Oct. 6, 1898, the son of Leander and Margaret Patton Tribby. He was married to Mildred E. Dunn April 29, 1919. Surviving are the widow; a daughter, Mrs, Joan Oppy of New Richmond: a son, David E. Tribby of Dunedin, Fla.; a niece, Mrs. Margaret Cowan of Crawfordsville, and eight grandchildren. Funeral services will be Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at Helms Funeral Home in Linden with Rev. Richard Rehard officiating. Burial will be in New Richmond Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. Saturday.

New Richmond - Gaylord L. Tribby, 68, Rt 1 died Thursday in Ben Hur nursing home, Crawfordsville where he had been a patient 8 days.  He had been ill five weeks.  Born in Montgomery County he lived his entire life on the same farm.  In 1919 he married Mildred E. Dunn who survives.  He was a member of the Methodist Church and Masonic Lodge.  He was a pst master of the latter organization of which he also served 10 years as secretary.  Also surviving are a son, David E. Dunedin, Fla and a daughter, Mrs. David Oppy, New Richmond.

"Funeral Notices - Gaylord L. Tribby - Friends may call after 6 p.m. Saturday at Helms Funeral Home, Linden.  Services there 2:30 p.m. Sunday the Rev. Richard Reohard officiating. Interment New Richmond Cemetery.  Also surviving are 8 grandchildren: Janice, Dvid, Mary and Kris Tribby and Patrick, Starr, Gaylor and Christopher Oppy.
