"WELL KNOWN NEW RICHMOND RESIDENT SUCCUMBS WEDNESDAY

New Richmond, June 17 (1931).--Leander M. Tribby, 82, died at his home in New Richmond at nine o'clock Wednesday night of complications, after an illness of three weeks.

The deceased was born in Kentucky eighty-two years ago, the son of William and Mahala Myers Tribby. He was married September 29, 1896, to Mrs. Margaret Wilson. He had lived in and around New Richmond for the past seventy-five years coming here from Kentucky.

Surviving are the widow and one son, Gaylord, who lives on a farm two miles south of New Richmond; one sister, Mrs. Nancy Mears, of New Richmond, and two grandchildren.

The funeral services will be held at the home in New Richmond on Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Friends will be welcome to view the remains until the time for the funeral which will be held for relatives only. The Rev. O. R. Mason, pastor of the New Richmond M. E. church, will be in charge. The family requests that friends please omit flowers."
