Mrs. Della Tribbett, age 84 years, died at 10:15 o'clock Tuesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Snow Perkins, 417 east Main street, after a year's illness. Mrs. Tribbett, the daughter of Owen David Morris and Delilah Cory Morris, was born July 26, 1860, on their farm eight miles east of Crawfordsville. Her maiden name was Lucinda Adelphus Morris. After the death of her parents she made her home with an older sister, Mrs. Frank Buchanan, of near Darlington. In 1880, she was married to Charles Otis Tribby (Tribbett). They lived first on a farm east of Darlington and later moved into Darlington. Then in 1895, they moved with their family to Lebanon where they lived a number of years and where Mr. Tribbett was Whitley known as an auctioneer. Mr. and Mrs. Tribbett were the parents of six sons and one daughter. Three of her sons, Judge Tribbett, Otto Tribbett, and Albert Tribbett, and her husband preceded her in death. Since the death of her husband, 17 years ago, Mrs. Tribbett had made her home with her daughter. The three surviving sons are John Tribbett, living at Ladoga; Clyde Tribbett, Fort Wayne, and Guy Tribbett, of Crawfordsville, and the daughter, Mrs. Perkins, Crawfordsville. A sister, Mrs. Dora Smith, also survive. Mrs. Tribbett is survived by 22 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Six grandsons are in the service. Mrs. Tribbett was a member of the Methodist church, of Thorntown, but after coming to Crawfordsville to live with her daughter, she attended the First Baptist church of this city. The body was taken to the Hunt and Son Funeral Home where friends may call to pay their respects. Funeral arrangements were not yet completed Tuesday.
