Linden – Max E. Tribbett ,67, of Linden, died at 4:55 p.m. Saturday Feb 12, 2000 in St. Clare Hospital, Crawfordsville. Born Nov 14, 1932 in Darlington, he was a 1950 graduate of Bowers HS. Mr. Tribbett farmed and operated Rexlaine Trucking Co. He was a member of the Darlington United Methodist Church. He was a former 4-H leader in Montgomery County where he was a past superintendent of the 4-H Beef Barn. In 1981, he was honoree of the American Shorthorn Association Builder of the Breed. Survivors include a sister, Doris Mellon of Naples, Fla, a daughter, Elaine Chambers and a son, Rex Tribbett, both of Darlington and Marj Tribbett of Darlington.
