COVINGTON—Mrs. Mae Tremaine, 90, died at 6:25 p.m. Sunday in Rudisill Nursing Home here after an illness of two years. She had been seriously ill six weeks. A life-long resident of Fountain County, she lived in Hillsboro a few years before moving to this community. She was a member of the First Methodist Church here. Born May 1, 1873 in Covington, she was a daughter of George W. and Caroline Schneider Crane. She was twice married. She first was married April 27, 1892 to William B. Coleman. He died May 5, 1943. On Dec. 11, 1954 she married Ira Tremaine, who survives. Other survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Lottie Moore of Vincennes and Mrs. Otho (Lelia) Hershberger of Ft. Wayne; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers.

Covington, Ind. (CNS) —Mrs. Mae Tremaine, 90, a resident of Covington most of her life, died at 6:25 p. m. Sunday (Feb. 16, 1964) at the Rudisill Nursing Home. She had been a patient two years and seriously ill six weeks. Born May 1, 1873, in Covington, she was the daughter of George W. and Caroline Schneider Crane. She was married April 27, 1898, to William B. Coleman, who preceded her in death on May 5, 1943. She later married Ira Tremaine on Dec. 11, 1954. He survives. Mrs. Tremaine also had resided in Hillsboro. She was a member of the First Methodist Church. Other survivors include a step daughter, Mrs. Louise Hickman of Williamsport Route 2; and two sisters, Mrs. Lottie B. Moore of Vincennes and Mrs. Lelia Hershberger of Ft. Wayne. She also was preceded in death by two brothers. Services will be at 2 p. m. EST Wednesday at the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home. The Rev. Don Ashley and the Rev. Roger James will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery. The body is at the funeral home. Friends will be received after 3 p. m. Tuesday. --typed by Walt W
