Covington, Ind July 29 – The sudden death of Harley O. Townsley, aged 43 years, which occurred at his home in this city Saturday evening at 6 o’clock was a shock to the community. Mr. Townsley had been ill only a few days and his condition was not thought serious. He was suffering from an ulcerated tooth but was able to be around his home until blood poison developed and in a short time his condition was past all medical skill. Mr. Townsley was well known in this city where he was born and where he has lived nearly all his life. He was a salesman for the Delco Lighting Co and for a time lived in Danville.  He moved back to Covington about a year ago.  He was a member of the local order of Knights of Pythias and was held in high esteem by all who knew him.  Besides the widow he is survived by his mother, Mrs. W. Pavey of Waldron and one sister, Mrs. Ross Crawford of Brazil.  The funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon from the residence, Rev. Moffett officiating.  Interment in Mt. Hope Cemetery. - kbz
