Kingman - Mrs. Gertrude Towell, 77, former resident of Kingman died Thursday evening at her home at 419 N. Hazel, Danville, Ill. She was a member of the Kingman Christian Church and Ladies Aid Society. She was born June 24, 1894, in Douglas County, Ill, a daughter of Robert and Carrie Gillogly Bullock. She was married to Thad Towell on March 26, 1918. He survives. Other survivors include a son, Blaine of Prairie Village, Kansas; a brother, Joe Bullock Rt 1, Kingman; a grandson and a step-granddaughter. Arrangements are incomplete at Woodrow Funeral Home here. Frank Brown of Danville officiating. Burial will be in the Kingman Fraternal Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today.
