Toney - Elmer

Elmer C. TONEY 66 died at 10 Saturday night at his home, 125 E. Spring Street. His death was attributed to a complication of diseases. Mr. Toney was born Jan 30, 1871 near Jamestown. The deceased who for many years was engaged in the transfer business here, is survived by 3 brothers, Ed of Danville, Il and Joe & Carl Toney both of this city. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Utterback & Murphy Funeral home with Rev. CC Fruth of 1st United Brethren Church in charge. Burial will be in Oak Hill. - kbz
