Alamo - William G. Todd, 80, Alamo resident died Tuesday at 7:40 p.m. in Culver hospital. He had been a patient for 5 weeks undergoing treatment for cancer. Todd was born April 11, 1873, son of Calvin and Bethine Davis Todd. He was married to Minnie Pickett now deceased in May 1892. A member of Methodist Church at Champaign, Ill, he received his education in grammar school near Wallace. In his earlier life, Todd was a factory worker in Illinois and also worked in an automobile factory in Toledo, Ohio. Later he worked at RR Donnelley in Crawfordsville where he retired at age 79. He is survived by 5 childreN: Mrs. Ed Underwood, Waynetown; Mrs. Ralph Hart and Virgil Todd of Toledo and Goldie Billingham and Clarence Todd of Alamo; 12 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death besides his wife were an infant son and two half-sisters. Funeral services are arranged for 1:30 p.m. Friday at Alamo Christian Church. Rev John Servies will officiate. Burial in Alamo Cemetery. Friends may call at the family residence in Alamo after 2 p.m. Thursday - kbz
