Homer Todd Dies At His Home Here- Homer Todd, 52, suffered a fatal heart attack at 6:30 p.m. Monday at his home, 1910 Delaware St. He was born Nov. 1, 1909, in Pulaski County, Ky., a son of Arthur and Dorinda Denney Todd. He was married Aug. 16, 1939 to Juanita Layne. They were married in Crawfordsville. Mr. Todd owned and operated Todd’s Wrecking Yard, which is located on Traction Road. During World War II he was employed at the Alcoa plant in Lafayette. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Lester, who is serving in the U. S. Navy at Chase Field, Beeville, Tex., and Rickey, at home; two daughters, Sandra and Sherry, both at home; a step-daughter, Mrs. Shirley Schenck of Crawfordsville; four brothers, Russell and Levi of Indianapolis, Sherman of Dayton, Ohio and Ronald of Hawthorne, Nev.; a half-brother, Herbert Todd of Somerset, Ky.; a sister, Mrs. Betty Stewart of Indianapolis; a half-sister, Mrs. Effie McCormick of Indianapolis; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents. The body was taken to Hunt and Son Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements are pending. - kbz
