George W. TODD, 92, who formerly lived on his farm north of Browns Valley died at his home in Crawfordsville late on Wednesday night last. Funeral services at Browns Valley Baptist church on Saturday were in charge of Rev Raymond Skelton. Burial was at Indian Creek. He was the son of John and Ruth Ann Todd and was born near Browns Valley Dec 7, 1847. He married Judith GRIFFITH in 1897. His three sons; Elmer; Charles and Raymond and one daughter Mrs. Frances Pahlman are all dead. Raymond was the only one of those called to the army in WW from the township to die in the service. The local legion post is named for him. One brother John and one sister, Mrs. George Williams survive. Before moving to Crawfordsville with his daughter who died in 1938 he spent his entire life on the farm at Browns Valley
