Frank H. Todd, 77 of New Richmond died in a one-vehicle accident near Miami, Okla Monday afternoon (April 17). Oklahoma authorities scheduled an autopsy to determine if he had suffered a neart attack. His wife, Ruth, was injured in the accident and taken to a hospital at Tulsa. Her condition is listed as critical, according to hospital authorities. The Todds had spent the winter at Tuscon, Ariz. and were reported returning to their home at New Richmond. Todd was retired after being employed for many years by the New Richmond Grain Co and Montgomery Co Highway Dept. Todd was a member of Todd Post of the American Legion. Th epost was named after his son, Donald who was killed in action during WWII. He was also a member of New RIchmond Christian Church, New Richmond F&AM and New Richmond OES. Born Nov 3, 1894 in Carroll County, he was a son of Thomas C. and Clyda Paddack Todd. He was married to Ruth Oppy of New Richmond. Survivors include three brothers, Carl S, Oscar B. and James F. all of Crawfordsville; three sisters, Mrs. Ruth Nitts of Detroit, Mich; Mrs. Mabel Hays of Lagrange, Ind and Mrs. Mary Plaster of Lafayette. Services are incomplete at Hunt & Son Funeral Home at Crawfordsville. - kbz
