Dresden Todd, 75-year-old former Crawfordsville resident died suddenly at 1:20 a.m. Wednesday at his home in Lebanon 407 Northwest Street. Mr. Todd retired farmer and trucker had resided at Lebanon the past 4 years. Born Jan 3, 1895 in Monroe County near Bloomington he was a son of Perry and Dora Clark Todd, both of whom are deceased. He was married July 14, 1956 to Icy Welden. She died last October. Mr. Todd was a member of the Liberty Chapel Church in Montgomery County and attended the First United Church of Christ at Lebanon. Surviving are two sons, Lester H. and Emory L. both of San Luis Obispo, Calif; a daughter, Mrs. Ruby Long of Lafayette; three brothers, Delbert of Indianapolis, Homer of New Richmond and David of Darlington; two sisters, Mrs. Delpha Clampitt and Miss Bertha Todd, both of Indianapolis, 7 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Lucille and sister, Bessie, Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Russell & Hitch Funeral Home at Lebanon with rev. Homer Hunsinger officiating. Burial in New Richmond Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Friday - kbz
