Crawfordsville, Ind - Mr. and Mrs. Frank Todd of New Richmond northwest of here were notified today that their son, Technician Fifth Grade Donald Todd, 20. was killed in France August 12.
Crawfordsville, Sept 2—The War Department has notified Mr. and Mrs. Frank Todd of New Richmond, that their son, Technician Fifth Grade Donald Todd, 20, was killed in action in France August 12. An only child and a graduate of New Richmond High School, Technician Todd arrived overseas only recently. He was the first man from New Richmond to give his life for his country in the present war. The father, a veteran of World War I, and member of American Legion is connected with the Montgomery County Highway Department. – thanks so very much to “S”
